With nearly 25 years of IT experience, Jil Wright dove into the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program pretty early in the game. She has spent the last several years as a Lead CMMC Assessor, conducting many assessments for several authorized C3PAOs, She has consulted and prepared members of the Defense Industrial Base for their level 2 certification. She was in one of the first groups of Provisional Assessors and Provisional Instructors trained by the Cyber-AB. She currently holds the Lead CMMC Assessor (LCCA), CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA), Certified Professional (CCP), and Provisional Instructor (PA/PI) credentials, demonstrating her deep knowledge and skills in the CMMC framework and standards.
Jil has experience leading assessment teams for Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessments, performing CMMC readiness assessments, conducting NIST 800-171 gap analyses, CMMC mock assessments, and writing policies and procedures for defense contractors, from small manufacturers to Fortune 50 companies. Jil has developed several projects based on her experiences including the CMMC Compliance Engine, a documentation package that contains policies, procedures, guides for M365 GCC High, as well as scripts for automations including different reports for evidence. The complete package includes Assessment Prep including questions assessors may ask for each domain. Jil also has developed a CMMC Scoping Tool, a Lead Assessor dashboard for assessments and other tools to help clients be successful.
Jil also contributed to the development and delivery of CMMC Certified Professional and CMMC Certified Assessor courses for a Cyber-AB Licensed Partner Publisher (LPP)/ Licensed Training Provider (LTP). Jil is passionate about securing the U.S. Department of Defense Supply Chain and training the next generation of CMMC professionals.
